What are we doing?
The Guardium Insights development team is changing the way that data is stored in the backend data warehouse.

Why are we doing it?
Switching to our new event-model based schema is a fundamental first step to maturing our data plane. Once this is completed, we can move forward with implementing our plans for making data management on Guardium Insights more suitable for larger enterprises.

An SSL certificate for IBM Security Verify will expire shortly (only affecting tenants with *.ice.ibmcloud.com hostnames). We will be renewing the production certificate on Monday 15th April 2024.

There is no change to the CA or to the intermediate or root certificates.

Users of IBM Verify mobile app on Android may need to download the latest version of the app. For the majority of customer applications no changes will be required. For applications that require to hold the certificate in their trust store, details of the new certificate are available here: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/security-verify?

What are we migrating?

We are migrating the backend infrastructure and database of Guardium Insights SaaS DSPM to IBM production accounts.

Why are we making this change?

Following IBM’s acquisition of Polar Security, DSPM is now offered as part of the IBM Guardium Insights SaaS portfolio of products.

Migrating to IBM accounts will allow us to:
1. Continuously deliver new features and integration capabilities with IBM Guardium Insights SaaS Platform and other IBM products.
2. Increase the security level of our infrastructure.
3. Improve our customer support.
4. Expand our geolocation availability.

How will it impact the environment?

Data Security Posture Management application will not be available.
Other Guardium Insights SaaS components are not be impacted.

What actions do you need to take?
DSPM customers only: Follow the environment specific migration instruction sent to you on March 13th 2024.
Non-DSPM customers: No actions required.
